This, of course, has not been always true. We have also intellectuals who sided with the right, for example during the Nazi-fascist regimes. However, the cultural centres of the countries have always tried to contrast and resist against regimes, dictatorships or simply wrong governments.But what is the situation today? Could we still talk about an intellectual elite sided with one party or the other?
